Formed in 1996, BioCare has been providing a wide range of services related to the remediation of biohazards throughout the U.S. and abroad.  The president of BioCare is Kent Berg, a well-known name in the biorecovery industry.  Mr. Berg not only founded the industry’s international non-profit association, he is the author of the actual term, “BioRecovery” which he coined in 1996 and is recognized by the industry as the technical term for what the industry does.  Author of many training manuals on decontamination, he is considered one of the top authorities of the industry.  His work as a biorecovery consultant around the world has brought credibility and recognition to the industry.  He is often quoted in technical journals such as those by I-CAR, Cleaning & Maintenance Mgmt., Corrections Magazine, and Law Enforcement Magazine; and has been on television in the U.S. as well as abroad.  He has appeared in U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek, and has been a technical consultant for the television program “CSI”.  Courts have used Mr. Berg as an Expert Witness.

BioCare provides the best possible service by requiring that all field technicians are trained and certified by the National Institute of Decontamination Specialists and the American BioRecovery Association (ABRA).  In addition, BioCare maintains a support group comprised of a microbiologist, three hygienists, a forensic chemist, an infection control nurse, and a DVM zoonotic researcher to ensure that we can handle most any situation efficiently and effectively.
